Some things should only be read by one person.
Two ways to reach Wilfred so that no one in between can read what you write: Signal, or an encrypted message through this page.
Signal
The simplest private channel. Signal encrypts end to end, keeps almost no records, and lets you set messages to disappear.
Wilfred's Signal username is @wilfredhenry.01. On a phone with Signal installed, this button opens a chat directly; otherwise, search the username inside the app.
A Signal username doesn't reveal your phone number to us, or ours to you. You can turn on disappearing messages in the chat settings.
Encrypted message
For when you need to put something in writing and Signal isn't an option.
The encrypted form is being set up. For now, please use Signal above, or write to hello@insearchofpeace.fund Email is not inherently encrypted; our mail is on Proton Mail, so if you write from a Proton address the message is encrypted end to end, and from any other address it is encrypted only in transit.
This form needs JavaScript to encrypt your message in your browser before it is sent. With JavaScript off, nothing is sent. Please use Signal above instead.
How it works, exactly
When you press Encrypt and send, your browser encrypts the message on your device using OpenPGP.js and the Fund's public key, shown below. Only the ciphertext is sent. The site's host (Netlify) stores that ciphertext until Wilfred downloads it to his own computer and decrypts it with a private key that exists nowhere else. Netlify, this website, and anyone watching the network see only scrambled text.
What this protects: the content of your message. What it doesn't hide: that someone sent a message, roughly when, and your network address as seen by Netlify. If those matter to you, use Signal, or Tor Browser with this form.
By email: our mail is on Proton Mail. Email is not inherently encrypted, but Proton-to-Proton mail is end to end; from other providers it is encrypted in transit only, and your provider can read it.
If you use PGP yourself, you can skip the form: encrypt to the key below with your own tools and send the result to hello@insearchofpeace.fund.
